The purpose of this course is to provide learners with the fundamentals of communication. This course looks at the components of quality communication and the obstacles that hinder the process. The roles of both the sender and receiver are explored as they strive to reach a shared understanding. This course also looks at the impact of nonverbal communication and the importance of courage and compassion in shared understanding. Finally, this course examines the communication cycle and that communication is an on-going process.
